THE HEAT RECOVERY TANK
The heat recovery unit picks up waste heat from the air-conditioner just after the refrigerant is compressed and before it goes to the condenser. This recovered heat is used to heat water in an insulated, stainless steel hot water tank, wherefrom the system got its name: HEAT RECOVERY TANK.

The concept of heat reclaim from air-conditioner could be easily adapted to any design and application as long there is an air-conditioner and there is hot water requirement. Tanks are available in size from 25 up to 500 litres; that explains the suitability for usage: single houses with air cons; condominium, bungalows or resorts with villas having individual air con per each unit; laundry businesses with limited capacity; hairdressing salons and beauty parlors.
The heat recovery tank requires, beside of storage area, only the air conditioner. The ‘super’ easy installation and application makes it possible to use the heat recovery tank for replacing existing conventional systems without major modification; all it requires is storage space on a balcony, garage, store room or on a roof area close to compressor units, supply of inflow tap water to the tank, the laying of pipes to all outlets and mixing valves for these.
Since the compressor can run at lower temperatures our heat recovery units are prolonging the lifetime of your air conditioners and are reducing the energy consumption as well.
We offer both systems:
- new air conditioners with built-in heat recovery
- you want to upgrade your air conditioners? Yes, we can retrofit our heat recovery units.

FAST FACTS
Can we retrofit the heat recovery tank? Yes
Can we install for any air condition model? Yes, the system doesn't require specific brand
Does it damage the air condition's compressor in the long term? no, as the system reduces the heat of the refrigerant gas, it even prolonges the lifetime of your compressor and reduces working load
How long is the product's lifetime? The system can reach ten and more years; everything depends on proper installation and good maintenance. Key is that the water is basically a clean water as supplied by the government; ground water can be extremely hard and can cause corrosion and damage
to the tank and components.
